GLAMPING! This is a renovation project for a cinema complex in Minami-machida Grandberry Park, which was developed to integrate the nature of the adjacent park with the commercial facilities. Being conscious of the experiential continuity with the park and greenery spreading throughout the site, we proceeded with the design under the concept of “GLAMPING” to immerse visitors in a relaxing visual experience in contact with nature. In the center of the lobby, visitors are welcomed by a symbolic tree that continuously changes over time with the use of screens, reflective panels, and wood-textured panels. Then they are led to the cinema through the corridor, you as if in a grove of trees greeted by animals and light. In addition, an exclusive member’s lounge is located on the upper floor, facing the atrium lobby, furnished with outdoor furniture for guests to spend time before screening.
We hope that the visitors experience pieces of “GLAMPING” scattered throughout the cinema and enjoy a visual experience that is unique to this cinema in Minami-machida.

GLAMPING! 隣接する公園の自然と商業施設が一体となるよう再開発が行われた、南町田グランベリーパーク内のシネコンの改修計画である。サイト全体に広がる公園や緑との体験的連続性を意識し、自然との触れ合いの中でのゆったりとした映像体験に浸るために「GLAMPING」をコンセプトに掲げ、デザインを進めた。ロビー中央には映像と反射材、木調の材料を用いてシネマらしい時と共に変化し続けるシンボルツリーをしつらえ、ゲストを迎え入れる。コリドーでは木立の中のような様々な木々や動物、光との出会いを意識しシネマへと導く。また、吹き抜けたロビーに面する形で、会員専用のラウンジが上階に設けられアウトドア家具で上映までのひと時を過ごせるようになっている。
随所に散りばめられた「GLAMPING」のかけらを体験して、南町田のこの映画館でしか体験できない映像体験をしてもらうことを望んでいる。
