A Place Where The Family Can Feel At Home
This is a project for a palliative care ward adjacent to the existing hospital building.
To create a space where both patients and their families can feel at home, we implemented materials and colors that evoke nature throughout the building and emphasized the connection with the outside. As it would be more important to feel the connection with the outside for a person lying in bed, the framed window were designed to emphasize the contact with the outside.
家族みんながやすらぐ居場所
既存棟に隣接する緩和ケア病棟。
患者も家族も家にいるように安心して過ごせる空間を目指し、外部との接点を大切にして、自然を感じさせる素材やカラーを館内全体に使用した。
ベッドで寝た状態でも外部を感じることが大切と考え、外部との接点である窓を強調するフレームデザインとした。
