Born in Ishikawa Prefecture. Honda has loved plants and crafts since his childhood. In pursuit of art, he went to an art college and started oil painting. His interest later developed to large-scale installations with a plant motif, and he maintained energetic activities after graduation. In the course of expanding from 2D to 3D subjects, he discovered the potential of gardens, which are outdoor installations consisting of real plants. After proceeding to a graduate school and learning landscaping, he joined the Field Four Design Office. He devotes himself to the pursuit of creating memorable landscapes/spaces for end users.Tree doctor and Registered landscape architect and Second class landscape technician.
石川県生まれ。幼少より植物と工作が好き。美術を志し美術大学に進学、油絵から始め、植物をモチーフとした大型インスタレーションに発展、卒業後も精力的に活動する。平面から空間へと対象を拡大する中で、本物の植物を用いた屋外インスタレーションである庭の可能性に気が付き、大学院に進学、造園を学ぶ。修了後、フィールドフォー・デザインオフィス入社。エンドユーザーの記憶に残る風景づくり・空間づくりをめざし、研鑽を重ねている。樹木医、登録ランドスケープアーキテクト、2級造園技能士。
